Our principal valuer, Geoff Alway, is a Certified Practising Valuer member of the Auctioneers and Valuers Association of Australia (AVAA).

WRITTEN VALUATIONS
Fees apply to all consultations which involve the preparation of formal written appraisals, valuation reports and valuation certificates.

Pricing Structure (less than 5 items):

1 Item:     $45 (including GST)
2 Items:   $80 (including GST)
3 Items: $100 (including GST)
4 Items: $130 (including GST)
5 Items: $150 (including GST)

Pricing Structure (more than 5 items):

All written valuations for more than five items (with the exception of valuations required for matrimonial settlements) or extensive collections (with the exception of valuations required for matrimonial settlements) are charged at an hourly rate of $200 (including GST), with a minimum charge of $150. The fee includes an inventory of assessed items and two typed valuations provided within 14 working days of the appointment. If requested or required, photographs of items may also be included in the valuation report. We are happy to conduct written valuations in situ at your home, business premises or at a secure setting of choice. Please note travel fees (calculated by kilometre) may apply.

Valuations required for matrimonial settlements usually require a “joint letter of instruction” to be provided prior to appointments being made. Matrimonial settlement valuations are charged at an hourly rate of $500 (including GST), with a minimum charge of one hour. This fee includes two typed valuation reports provided within 14 working days of the appointment. Prepayment is required for all matrimonial settlement valuations.

Administrative costs and charges such as typing, compiling, mailing, and affidavits are also charged on an hourly basis.
